Our January meeting was very interesting, but owing to illness and other things, we only had 13 members present. Competition winners were 1st Val Cox, 2nd Alma Thompson, 3rd Sandi Amis.
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 8th February in the Harbour Room at 2.15pm. Speakers: Joy Fuller and Deborah –"The Box Girls". Competition: Homemade Valentine Card.

Val Cox
Blakeney Cubs and Beavers are still carrying on and we meet every Tuesday night at the Scout Hut except in the school holidays. We would love to have more children to join. We do plenty of fun activities. Beavers aged 6+ and Cubs aged 8+. For more information or to join, please contact Danny on 01328 830669/07776 353898 or Debbie on 01263 740117.
From our last fundraising event the total was £317.80 which we were very pleased with. We had homemade soup and rolls, mince pies and coffee, tombola and other stalls and some table top also. It was a good start to the pre-Christmas preparations. I think everyone enjoyed it.
Our thanks to everyone who helped in any way, committee members and non-committee members, we wouldn't be able to manage without your help. The money raised is for the maintenance of the HQ. We have just had the soffits renewal and all new guttering fixed, to keep the HQ up to standard.
Our next fundraising will be our usual sale in April, date to be arranged so more details next time. We now have Bingo every Monday at 7.30pm, run by Chris, so come along and have a go, I'm sure you'd be welcomed.
